Toys are collected each year at the November PRW meeting for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. The mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community.
The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
To participate bring a new unwrapped toy - or toys - to the November PRW meeting.
Coupons are collected to distribute to U.S. Military Families to help them save money on groceries and other basic items. To participate bring coupons with the excess paper trimmed off to any PRW meeting. Separate the coupons into bundles of food or "other" coupons for non-food items such as detergent or vitamins.
In addition, each month a PRW member hosts a coupon clipping gathering. PRW members will be notified by email of where & when. To participate please consider hosting a gathering. Attendees need only to bring scissors - there will be lots of coupons to cut but more are always welcome.
Emily’s Place seeks to break the cycle of domestic violence for women and their children by providing "transformational" living with emphasis on emotional healing and life-skills training to ensure a successful, self-sustaining future.
PRW coordinates with Emily's place to find out what supplies may be needed. PRW members are asked to bring supplies to PRW meetings for donation to Emily's Place.

At every PRW meeting donations are accepted for Patriot Paws.
Canisters decorated with paw prints are placed at the sign-in desk and on individual tables for this purpose.
Or add a contribution to your lunch ticket to benefit Patriot Paws.
The mission of Patriot Paws is to train and provide service dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities and PTS in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence.
At PRW's May 2015 meeting Patriot Paws gave a demonstration of their training and discussed their program. For more information and to volunteer or to donate visit the Patriot Paws website.
